In this segment, Brian Killian from Peters Photography works outside with a less than perfect senior girl. He’ll show you how to achieve studio quality lighting working with scrims, diffusers and reflectors along with posing the senior to de-emphasize certain areas to achieve flattering portraits.

Brian Killian, Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman, his technical training in commercial photography from Ohio Institute of Photography. After graduating in 1989, he went to work with Larry Peters, seen by most as the leader in high school senior photography. Operating from three Ohio locations, Peters’ Photography studios are known for their quality and incredible variety.

They photograph over 1000 high school seniors per year, in addition to their children, family and individual portrait clients. Working with Larry, Brian developed his style and perfected his craft. Brian earned his Masters and Photographic Craftsman degrees in 1994 and 1996, respectively. As a correspondent for PhotoVision, Brian utilizes his photography knowledge and interview skills and is able to bring his own perspective when working with our featured photographers.
