PPA partnered with an independent research firm to conduct a comprehensive study about consumers who have purchased and plan to purchase professional photography. Because those findings turned out to be so useful, PPA decided to continue with a second, detailed consumer research follow-up study.

The findings from the first report will help you learn more about what influences consumers when they’re making a photography purchase. The second study focuses specifically on consumers that purchased professional photography in the last 3 years and brings clarity on actual consumer behaviors. 

This nationwide study focused on 3 groups of consumers:

  •  Wedding photography purchasers
  •  Portrait purchasers
  •  High-school senior photography
