About This Workshop

Join us for a hands-on lighting fundamentals workshop where we will master Off-Camera Flash (OCF) using the Gray Card Method. This technique ensures image consistency and proper exposure regardless of the time of day or location, whether indoors or out. In the morning session of the day, we will focus on learning this proven technique. After lunch, you will put your new skills to work in various studio and outdoor settings with live models. You will leave the workshop with fresh content, technical knowledge, ongoing support, and your own gray card to continue refining your skills. This workshop is ideal for all photographers, whether you are new to OCF or looking to advance your lighting expertise. We recommend having a basic understanding of your camera’s operations and the exposure triangle. While we will be using Godox lighting, you are welcome to bring your own equipment to become familiar with the process on your own gear.

Items to Bring:

  • DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
  • Notebook & Pen
  • If using our lights: Godox Controller
  • If using your own lights: One light setup
  • including controller
