About This Event

Do you avoid photographing portraits outdoors during certain parts of the day? Take control of your outdoor lighting to give yourself the freedom to photograph any time of day. This workshop will go from solar noon to sunset to explore a variety of lighting challenges throughout the day. Utilizing off camera flash, we’ll take power back from the sun to create intentional images and push your photography to the next level. The instructor will have Godox strobes (with modifiers) and triggers available, but you are encouraged to bring the lighting system that you currently own, if you have one in your toolkit. Models will be provided. The studio provides a variety of locations to photograph in, but weather permitting, we will visit other nearby locations to continue to test our skills. Keep in mind, this is a long day. We will have critique and classroom times, but be prepared for much of the day on your feet, photographing models.
