Chart of accounts: existing QB

    Hooray! I got it figured out. Disregard previous comment (you have to change the file type in the chart of accounts first, I didn't know there was a Cost of Goods Sold file type)!

    Download didn't work because the Cost of Goods sold type didn't match the expense file type. ????

    I find it extremely frustrating that it has not been described what the actual contents are. I suppose blindly adding some accounts is one way of doing it, however not how I prefer doing it. What am I missing? Is there an in depth description somewhere?

    Would not download using Safari on a MacBook Pro but did download using Firefox.

    this file still does not work. says cannot copy file: cannot read from source file or disk.

    When trying to download, it says the file is corrupted.
