The Epson SureColor P5370 17-inch printer boasts a robust build designed to handle a heavy print load. The 10-channel MicroPiezo AMC printhead allows users to switch between matte black and photo black with no ink change or clearing. An ink-repelling coating on the nozzles reduces clogs.
The SureColor P5370 uses the Ultra-Chrome Pro10 10-color pigment ink set that includes a new violet ink for an extended gamut in blue hues and yields prints with a 200-year lightfastness rating in color and up to 400 years for black-and-white prints (in testing). The ink cartridges are 200ml capacity.
The printer includes a built-in roll media support, an auto cutter, and a high-capacity cassette that holds 8.5x11- to 17x22-inch sheets. The manual paper path can carry hefty fine art papers and rigid posterboard up to 1.5mm thick.
Carbon Black mode is built into the print driver. It creates a high black density on high-gloss papers and increases contrast with smooth tonal gradations on glossy paper.
The Epson SureColor P5370 is priced at $2,095 and will begin shipping in January 2024.
