About Jada and David

Jada and David combine photography and set design to create loud, colorful, surreal photos. Together, they manage set design, lighting, photography for all their projects. After nearly a decade working as wedding and portrait photographers, they shifted their focus to studio work where their creativity could really grow. In 2020, they started building sets for their shoots, which led to their 100 Set Project in 2021—building and photographing 100 sets in one year—a turning point in their career. Using plywood, paint, and light, they create liminal spaces filled with bold colors and optical illusions, exploring the space between familiar and surreal. Their work blurs the line between reality and imagination. Their shoots always include narrative, strong emotion, and layered concepts. They work to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, capturing images that convey authentic emotion and thoughtful ideas. Today, they focus on building custom sets for both personal and client projects, enjoying collaborations with musicians on music videos and album covers, as well as working with creative brands and fashion designers to produce meaningful photos and content. Their work has been shown in galleries around the world, including Miami Art Week and Berlin Photo Week. They were also nominated for the Aesthetica Art Prize and the Abbey Road Music Photography awards
