Chicago Cubs photographer Stephen Green knows how to leverage an opportunity. When he was in graduate school at the Art Institute of Chicago, the native Chicagoan did his MFA photo thesis on Wrigley Field, giving him special access to the ballpark not to mention the contacts within the ball club. After that season ended, the Cubs photographer retired, and Green was hired on to take his place. It was a fairytale beginning for a dream job that has lasted Green decades, taught him a lot, and given him the leverage to take on other challenging photo gigs in music, TV, and events.
