Tokyo glows in Liam Wong’s new book “TO:KY:OO” (Thames & Hudson), which documents the city during its colorfully illuminated nighttime hours. Wong, who was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, began photographing Tokyo when he traveled there for his job as director of a video game company. “I got lost in the beauty of Tokyo at night,” he says.
In addition to Wong’s photography, the book describes his creative and technical processes, including the methods he uses to enhance color in his work.
