Is getting a professional credential worth it? According to a PPA survey of recent recipients of the certified professional photographer designation, the answer is resounding yes. Ninety-nine percent of recipients agreed or strongly agreed that getting certified had improved their confidence, and 95 percent agreed or strongly agreed that it had improved their photographic skills.
