Control and Capability

Designed for portability, the compact Fujifilm X-T5 camera features a back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR imaging sensor that pairs with the X-Processor 5 processing engine for advanced image resolution and features.

The top dials control ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation, and most Fujinon XF lenses have an aperture control ring, allowing the exposure to be set before the camera is powered on. The three-way tilt LCD screen gives framing control at any angle. Auto white balance can be set to white or ambient priority to reproduce white whites or preserve warm tones in incandescent light.

Five-axis in-body image stabilization allows photographers to use the Pixel Shift Multi-Shot feature that secures 20 frames with one shutter press and shifts the sensor a half-pixel between each frame. Pixel Shift Combiner software uses the captures to produce an ultra-high resolution 160-megapixel image. A maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 second freezes subjects at high speed.
