Obtaining coverage for loss of business income due to a pandemic is a long shot but filing a claim costs you nothing. Your best chance at filing a claim successfully is through an existing Business Owner’s Policy (BOP). Most BOP claim payouts for business income loss are due to a direct physical loss or damage to the property. The worse thing the insurance company can say is, no. But, given the situation photographers are facing, we recommend you try everything you can to protect yourselves.
