Discover the magic of off-camera flash! We will go beyond just exposure and teach you how to use your flash for dynamic lighting techniques. While working with studio strobes and speed lights, you'll learn how to add pop and sizzle to your ambient light photography.
The class times are such that it encompasses the worst and possibly the best times outdoors for creating portrait images. Since it is Colorado after all, this class will be held weather permitting and could be indoors in the studio if mother nature does not want to cooperate.
Spend the afternoon, creating portraits outdoors. Using off-camera flash with reflectors, soft boxes and umbrellas will be demonstrated as to the softening effect of the light source.
This workshop is geared towards beginning/intermediate photographers. Everyone should have a good working knowledge of their camera's manual mode (aperture, shutter speed & ISO settings) and how they influence the resultant image.
Using different forms of flash on location, I will demonstrate a system that produces great images. A model is scheduled to appear. You will learn & practice how to capture images balancing multiple light sources.
PocketWizard remotes & lights will be geared to Nikon equipment. If using another brand, please feel free to bring your equipment.
