Philip Brasch & Bert A Pasquale, M.Photog., CPP
In panoramic landscape photography, the secret is to see, understand and capture the mood present at the end of day and beyond. Long after other photographers have put their cameras away and gone home, the landscape photographer is just beginning to capture their masterpieces.
Join instructors Philip Brasch and Bert Pasquale for this spectacular workshop as they guide you through some secret local landscapes of the Potomac River and its tributaries. Thanks to months of research exploring Prince William and Fairfax Counties in Virginia, Philip and Bert have handpicked these settings that will give you the opportunity to pan the horizon and produce incredible and extremely high-resolution panoramic images.
As the sun sets, you'll get to work in low-light while taking multiple tiles to capture the best and most challenging panorama images. Discuss critical equipment, composition, low-light, HDR-Panoramas, using auxiliary light sources near dark and more. This course leaves no stone untouched as you delve into everything panoramic photography is and can be. To make this adventure even more unique and rewarding, for a portion of the workshop, you will compose, pose, and then panel a model into the wider panoramic image. Compose a portrait in the landscape! Gorgeous scenery, models, fellow photographers, panoramic experts and you - who could ask for anything more?
