Lisa Cuchara, Cr.Photog. & Tom Cuchara
Interested in learning about photographing scenes with large amounts of light and dark? Join instructors Lisa and Tom Cuchara as you visit the Eastern State Penitentiary, a structure with amazing details and neo-gothic architecture. Photographing low contrast scenes is easier than photographing scenes with lots of darks and lots of bright areas. Come and learn how to master these types of scenes as you have fun with some in-camera creative techniques, long exposures, double exposures, orton effect, zoom burst, etc. This is a great place with lots of interesting features, gothic ceilings and the cells have skylights (it was so prisoners could be "penitent"). Tom and Lisa have photographed here frequently, let them show you around and teach you something about your histogram and exposures!
