Interested in learning more about the Gum Bichromate Process? (A fun, artsy process where digital negatives are used to create one of a kind art.) Bring a thumb drive with several photos to choose from (contrasty, not too busy works best!) and be ready to make digital negatives. Instructor Robin Thompson will then show you how to create with the alternative process of gum! Using water color pigment, chemistry and exposing your paper/chemistry/negatives to light (just like in film) we will create layers of color that will create gorgeous one of a kind art. This is a simple process that uses gum arabic, water color pigment, potassium dichromate and UV light. It's another artistic way to embrace the art you can create using photography.
