What is tabletop photography? Tabletop photography is a genre of commercial photography, which includes items that fit on top of a table such as, beverages, food, bottles, and cosmetics and still life creations. This type of photography is about capturing products and conveying a message. How do you accomplish this? In this class, the instructors will take you through the basics of tabletop photography by discussing how to start with an object and develop a creative concept around it. The instruction will include a discussion of studio lights and modifiers, backgrounds and other equipment. This course will provide numerous demonstrations of tabletop products and will also provide an opportunity for you to practice. If you have an interest in capturing images in the studio and wondering what equipment you might need, this is the class for you. This workshop promises to be a full day of classroom instruction, demonstration, and hands-on opportunities!
