In this hands-on editorial photography workshop (WITH A MODEL), participants will master the art of capturing powerful, storytelling images in a distinctive editorial style. The workshop will explore both the technical and creative aspects of editorial photography, covering key topics such as the difference between editorial photoshoots and commercial, visual storytelling, pre-production planning and concept development, lighting techniques, composition and framing, and directing and posing subjects. Participants will gain hands-on experience setting up shoots, experimenting with various environments, and adapting to diverse lighting conditions, from natural light to speedlights and studio flashes to create editorial images. I will talk about building a portfolio and refining your personal style. By the end of the session, attendees will have a thorough understanding of how to plan and create an editorial shoot, from the initial concept to the final image.
