Join us for a hands-on workshop (WITH A MODEL) on Creative Photography with Off-Camera Flash and unlock new dimensions of light! You will learn how to use the power of off-camera flash to transform your photography, offering more control over light direction, quality, and dramatic effects. Add depth, texture, and highlights to your images, making them stand out with professional lighting techniques. Throughout the workshop, I will cover essential gear and equipment, including speedlights, strobes, and wireless triggers, as well as light modifiers such as softboxes, umbrellas, and reflectors. You'll gain a solid understanding of basic lighting techniques, such as key light, fill light, and backlighting, and discover how light positioning and angles can dramatically alter the look of your photos. Additionally, we’ll dive into some fun, creative, and non-traditional techniques to push your creativity even further. I will go over setups with one light, two lights, and three lights so you have a “visual library” in your head to keep on experimenting afterward. By the end of this workshop, you’ll be equipped to experiment with off-camera flash in a variety of settings, from outdoor to studio portraits. We’ll explore common issues like overexposure, hard shadows, and flat lighting, and give you the confidence to experiment with different setups and modifiers.
