The Mastering Off-Camera Flash class is designed to empower photographers and eliminate the fear associated with using off-camera flash. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate photographer, this course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create stunning images using artificial lighting. Course Objectives:1. Understand the fundamentals of off-camera flash: This course starts with a solid foundation, covering the basic principles of off-camera flash photography, including the equipment, terminology, and techniques involved.2. Overcome fear and build confidence: The class focuses on demystifying the complexities of off-camera flash and provides a supportive environment to help you overcome any fears or apprehensions you may have about using artificial lighting.3. Master lighting techniques: Explore a wide range of lighting techniques, such as fill light, key light, rim light, and more. Learn how to shape and control light to create depth, dimension, and mood in your photographs.4. Practical hands-on sessions: Put theory into practice through hands-on sessions where you'll work with professional-grade off-camera flash equipment. Gain experience in setting up lighting equipment, positioning lights, modifying light output, and creating different lighting.5. Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Learn how to overcome common challenges associated with off-camera flash, such as exposure issues, color temperature, light spillage, and more. Note: Participants are required to bring their DSLR or mirrorless camera, a flash unit, and a trigger system compatible with their camera. Some equipment may be available for borrowing during the course, but it is highly recommended to have your own gear for the best learning experience.
