Have you admired studio portraits and desired to create them but then say to yourself I can't do that, I do not have the space for a studio or the right equipment. Well, good news, you can create beautiful portraits in small and even portable spaces too. Having started in a home-based studio, setting up small space studios on sight at clients, and working out of a smaller commercial space now, I will share my experiences and lessons on how to be creative in small spaces. It's time to quit making excuses and start making beautiful portraits that help separate your work from others and offer something special to your clients. The course will begin with an overview of how studio portraits help create offerings that are different from the competition and allow you to be creative. It will then move into what they essential things regardless of your space that you will need to create compelling studio portraits. Talking about different solutions for lighting, lenses, and scene setups to maximize creativity and client experience in a small space. Including space-saving tips, tricks and tools to optimize space, work safely and efficiently and create great experiences and portraits. Then we will also cover beyond the actual shooting space and talk about other factors to consider to create amazing client experiences in small space, home, or a portable studio approach - such as how do you prepare a welcoming space, sales space and more that will add to your clients experience including selecting the portraits they love and sample finished products. We will even go into how you put it all in the trunk of the car, and how you layer added lighting tool, and background techniques for added creativity, and even a few tips in Photoshop that can help them expand their studio. But thats not all, we will also have our small space shoot out, using the tips and tricks we have learned and worked on together the class also have the chance to practice setting up and photographing in 1 of 3 options to test what they have learned and feel how it really works.
