Light paints the subjects in our portraits, but how do we change the paint? With Drama Lighting! Off-camera flash allows us to Paint With Light to create unique and dramatic portraits that can't be captured with just the ambient light. We will show you how to use multiple off-camera flash units to solve issues with heavy shadows in the bright sun, as well as to create depth and texture in your portraits. And we'll show you how adding rim light and back-lighting will bring your portraiture up to the next level, whether for children, high school seniors, or families. Attendees should have an on-camera flash and at least one off-camera flash. We will demonstrate how to use Manual settings as well as Auto settings, along with the TTL function of your flash units.
