This class will provide clear and straightforward instructions on off-camera lighting. You’ll learn key techniques for using light effectively and efficiently. We will teach you to balance ambient and artificial lights to improve the overall quality of your portraits. We will dive deep into setting up one to five lights. In addition to strobes and speed lights, we will also work with continuous LED. You will learn how and when to select the perfect modifier to sculpt the light source to create a dynamic portrait. We will discuss the inverse square law as well as the exposure triangle. This workshop is designed for photographers of all levels, focusing on practical, easy-to-follow steps to help you understand and control off-camera lighting.
