Bird photography is a rewarding artistic pursuit. In a way, it is an artistic "sport" because it is challenging and there are many elements involved in getting the best shot; every outing is different. It's more than knowing your camera settings, it involves analyzing the type of birds and their species-specific behaviors, the weather, location, and its settings. It's meditative in that it involves walking around in nature, slowly, waiting for the right moment. Your mind focuses on nature and clears out your daily worries. Your reward comes when you go home relaxed from a day in nature, and the joy of viewing all the wonderful shots. We will go to several areas around the lake looking for different birds. We'll start from the lower part of the Dam, riverside, and then explore the shoreside of the lake and a few other park areas. Enticement: There is an eagle's nest in the area where we will be shooting. The likelihood of photographing them is very high. The location is beautiful next to a lake and a river and a Dam. At the end, we will discuss the editing of birds in Photoshop. The reason for the weekday workshop is the park is less populated with humans.
