Making a portrait of a child or adult from start to finish. Lighting techniques for a variety of photographic styles. Modifier choices, background and environmental sets, moods, retouching, and image finishes. Business - getting clients, creating a process, shooting the IPS, delivery, and follow-up. Models will be present to practice and we will photograph one another as well. We will look at strobes, constant lights, and a variety of modifiers and lighting styles for mood and effect, demonstrate shooting tethered, and make editing choices on the fly. Styles of posing and lighting to highlight moods. Product pricing and printing options. We will discuss maintaining legacy with your clients and getting art on their walls. Basic Agenda: Obtaining clients, thru marketing, prepping, photographing and posing, lighting, image selections, print products or digitals, and follow-up. We must have 3 participants for this class.
