This course will take you from “using” Lightroom to mastering this powerful workflow and editing platform. It is designed for those who already use Lightroom Classic but feel they aren’t “using it right” or occasionally get lost. The number of students is limited so more personal attention is available. Together, we will walk through the underlying core purpose and the efficiencies it provides to a photographer. Understand catalogs, locations, backups, and utilizing previews for remote editing. Do you struggle with deciding which images to edit? When you return from a trip or shoot, does it take hours to review your pictures? How do you edit multiple photos at once? How do you find that image you worked on last year but never finished? Once you have an image for editing, where do you start? Which panel should I use first? What about plugins such as Topaz or Nik Effects? When should I use Photoshop? How do I add those little touches that take an image from being a nice vacation picture to art on the wall? It will be a full day, but you will leave with greater confidence and control over your photography process. Understanding WHAT you can do using Lightroom will improve your ability to capture the right raw material for your finished product, no matter your subject.
