In person sales is an important part of maximizing your income as a pet photographer. So is managing the expectations of your clients. Margaret Bryant has had her business for over 25 years. She has dealt with all sorts of dog and cat owners and their reasonable, and unreasonable, expectations of their pets. This class will go over how to manage the expectations of the owner from the first contact to the delivery of the product. We will pick apart different client scenarios and talk about ways to handle them. Preparing the owners for the session itself, will be specifically addressed. Issues specifically relating to pet photography will also be discussed. Students are encouraged to bring stories of their own clients. The benefits of doing in person sales will be addressed and the several ways that in person sales can be done will be reviewed. Some in person sales techniques will be demonstrated. We will also do some role playing so students will feel more comfortable in handling their own clients.
