Connie Sanders, M.Photog., CPP
For those who have no studio experience, who want to know more about studio work, and want the opportunity to play around with different types of lighting gear and techniques, this is your chance. Learn to work with subjects in a small studio or location space in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. It will be a combination of demo and hands-on practice using strobe lights and different modifiers to see the different effects they produce.   We will work with strobes (one and multiple lights), reflectors, various lighting modifiers, backgrounds, light meter, remote triggers, and basic lighting patterns.  Practice arranging lighting equipment and posing a subject. You might even learn a few money-saving hacks!
Course Items: Your DSLR camera and lens; a long lens if you have one (over 100mm), but not required.  Note-taking materials.  Laptops are not necessary but you may bring one, if you wish to edit images or use it to take notes; if so, it would help to bring an extension cord.
