This hands-on photography workshop is your opportunity to explore this rarefied genre of portrait photography in the pool with live models! You have seen underwater portraits many places on social media, websites, in galleries, etc., and now it’s your time to experience how these magical images are created. This will be a fun workshop exploring first-hand how-to setup and photograph models underwater in an indoor heated swimming pool! Wayne is an experienced underwater photographer and he is excited to spend time with you sharing the ins and outs of what he has learned from each of his underwater adventures. The workshop will begin with preparing the equipment and gathering mermaid tails and other useful props. Once the underwater gear is packed, it’s time to head over to the pool. At the pool, you will set up the equipment, and we will have a planning meeting with the models. Once ready, the class will dive in and have some fun creating portraits with underwater magic! After saying goodbye to the models, the workshop will finish with Wayne showing you how they do some basic computer processing to further enhance your creative images.
