In this course you will learn the basics of exposure in photography. The class will go over the exposure triangle (ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture) and how they affect the resulting image. Chad Naujoks will teach you how the camera meter figures out the correct exposure and how to use your camera to change your settings while maintaining the exposure of your images. There will be hands on tutorials in the studio, challenging you to "get off of auto" and use your new knowledge of exposure to create the images you have been after in various lighting situations. The class will also be touching lightly on Adobe Lightroom. You will go over best practices for managing and cataloging your photos. You will also discuss light editing in Lightroom. You will learn how to best manage your photography workflow, minimizing the time from taking your photo to printing your photos.
The class will also go over the importance of printing your photos rather than keeping them on a computer. There will be discussion on the requirements of getting a beautiful print, and why you should be printing and showing off your work as much as you can!
