Are you interested in photographing newborns? So much goes in to getting those super adorable, squishy little poses but it's imperative that you know how to pose them safely and comfortably. Spend the day with me in my beautiful, fully stocked newborn photography studio and learn everything you need to know to get started. This workshop is designed for beginner photographers. A working knowledge of how to shoot in manual model on your DSLR camera is highly recommended. A 35mm, 50mm, or 24-70mm lens is preferred. The first half of the workshop we will discuss camera settings, studio vs. natural lighting, prop styling, and of course newborn safety. After a nice lunch break we will have a newborn model in the studio! I will go over several basic newborn poses with tips and tricks to get the baby positioned safely and comfortably and everyone will get the chance to take their own photographs. After our model leaves we will have time to debrief, review our images, and go over any questions you have. All participants will be invited to join a private Facebook community for continued help and support.
Items to bring: DSLR camera, camera's instruction manual, medium - wide angle lens (35mm, 50mm, 24-70mm), memory card, battery, note taking materials
