This course is designed to cover the process of earning certification as a Professional Photographer (CPP) through PPA. It will help you to understand the challenges and rewards of earning the title. You will learn helpful steps toward passing the written exam, as well as an overview of how to meet the image submission criteria. An outline of topics and helpful resource handouts will be included along with video tutorials.
The day will start with a discussion of topics that you must fully understand in order to pass both the written test and the image submission. Some of the essential topics include: Inverse square law; lighting (natural and introduced); manual camera settings; exposure compensation; color balance; different types of DSLR camera sensors.
You will also gain insight into the image submission process. The items needed for the image submission and the importance of each will be demonstrated and discussed.
If you decide to continue the journey towards certification, you will learn how to declare your candidacy, and about the different options available to take the test.
I am a CPP Liaison for PPA and after taking my class I will be available as a mentor throughout your journey to obtain certification. It is a challenging, but rewarding process that will demand for you to learn and improve upon your craft.
