Mandy D Womack
Have you ever seen a workshop advertised, and thought "Wow, I'd love to learn that, but I can barely do Photoshop, that will be too hard for me." ? Well, never fear, Photoshop basics for beginners to intermediate is here! We will go over a light bit of workflow using Lightroom, and quickly switch over to Photoshop, where we will edit images with your basic needs in mind. Images will be provided, so everyone can work on the same thing. If you are comfortable using your own images in the afternoon portion, you are welcome to do that. We will go over short cut keys, different and easy editing techniques and possibly some easy compositing(2 images into 1). Just remember, Photoshop is not to "fix" bad images, it is to be used like a darkroom to enhance an already nice image. Also, if you have a Wacom Tablet and are scared to use it, or don't know how to use it, then bring it, I will help you learn how to set it up and use it. Come join me, let me help you get to the next level of where you want to be.
Items to bring: Please bring your laptop, or desktop, with the latest version of Photoshop on it, Wacom tablet and pen, otherwise mouse and mouse pad. Bring all cords needed for your electronics. I will have some extension cords and a few surge protectors.
