Debra L Lawrence, Cr.Photog.
So you are a mom and trying to successfully juggle a full time (or part time) photography business out of your home. (or maybe thinking about starting one!) Whew! Just when you get focused on a task, the kids, the spouse or the house draws your attention away. Or, as you set up your camera and studio for the next shoot your realize the cat peed all over the area you are about to use. How about handling a sales call when a screaming toddler comes tearing through the room? Oh my gosh what is that SMELL? And when is there time to edit? To relax?
Debra Lawrence Started her business 18 years ago with 4 littles in tow. She grew it into a successful home based portrait photography business and had an extra kiddo in there along the way! Now that three kids are grown and gone, she has had the opportunity to look back and reflect (and take a breath!). She will share with you tricks and tips to balance all that comes with the giant job of growing your kids and business at the same time.
Lunch, note taking supplies and all resources needed will be provided (because why should you have to plan yet another detail!), and all notes will be emailed after the class. Wear comfortable clothing as we will have rambunctious models to demonstrate a full run through from first client contact to portrait delivery.
Items to bring: You don't need to bring a thing!! If you can find your camera (lol) and want to bring it, do it! If not, no worries. Lunch provided, but bring snacks if you like!
