The class will begin by evaluating originals to determine how best to scan or digitize them. Then, your instrcutors will teach some basic techniques for preparing the digital version in Lightroom. Next, you will practice with some basic tools in Photoshop for correcting simple flaws. Finally, Chris and Carol will demonstrate several more advanced techniques for restoring extreme damage. Instructors will demonstrate, provide practice opportunities, and offer feedback as you try your hand at restoring photos. The class will work at a pace that is comfortable for beginners, but they recommend that attendees have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop.
