In this course, you will cover the basics and differences between real estate and architecture styles of photography. The class will cover gear, business, and technique throughout the day. You will start in a classroom setting to discuss gear and a bit of business then head out to photograph an actual space with your own camera and lenses! You will cover topics like how tilt-shift lenses and a good tripod will help composition and final image quality and as well as how to gain new clients and leverage relationships to get repeat business. On site, you'll learn techniques on how to compose images and when to use external lighting sources. You will learn time saving tips for maximizing efficiency with real estate photography as well as how to slow down and stage perfect photos for architectural style photography. Then as long as time permits, everyone will go back to the classroom to edit some of the images- again splitting notes between real estate style efficiency editing and architectural style perfection.
