Equine photography has the potential to portray the beauty and strength of the horse. However, if you are unfamiliar with the mechanics of horse movement and sport, you may show final images to your client that are photographically beautiful, yet are not pleasing for a horse owner. Come learn about how to photograph horse movement in a way that will maximize the beauty of the subject. This course will have three sections: you will discuss and see examples of both correct and incorrect timing of equine action photographs. The class will then practice taking action photographs of horses. Finally, you will review photographs that were taken by members of the class in the second section in order to practice identifying correct and incorrect timing.
