The landscape for portrait photographers is rapidly evolving. There is an increasing demand for portraits outside of the studio--portraits that reflect a sense of place. This class will help you learn how to produce professional-looking environmental portraits using a simple, but elegant approach. Students will get hands on experience learning proper lighting and posing techniques for a wide array of environmental situations. At the conclusion of the class, you will be able to confidently produce professional environmental portraits that tell a story of the subject's life and surroundings. The course will be primarily in the field at a number of locations in or near downtown Omaha.
Items to Bring: A professional camera (e.g., DSLR) with a standard lens (50mm or a zoom in that range).
