Everything you ever wanted to know about indoor studio lighting and outdoor portraits is here in this hands-on workshop course. Your instructors, Kenny and Tommy, will not only explore the master patterns of lighting, but they will show you how to create dramatic portraits that your clients will love and cherish forever. You will learn how to use studio lights. In this new session, you will be looking at the use of LED Studio Lighting vs Strobe Lights. Will there be a difference in the outcome or not? Let’s explore. You will also explore the different modifiers (i.e. soft boxes, umbrellas, v-flats, grids, gels, scrims, and more), when to use them and how. Weather permitted, the class will take the studio outdoors and see how to get the same professional studio look with off camera lighting. While working in this hands-on workshop, you will be taught on how to use a light meter and why it matters in the studio. This class is for beginners as well as advanced photographers who would like to create more dramatic portraits. There will be professional models for the class to photograph. This is a great way to add too or start building your personal portfolio. During the class session, Kenny and Tommy will give examples of proper posing techniques for your clients. At the close of the class (time permitted), Kenny will share his secret of post processing his images for a dramatic look for his clients. You don’t want to miss this fun and highly impactful class.
