Bellevue, KY
Connie Sanders, M.Photog., CPP
This is an introductory class, designed for those who want to learn approaches to photographing and editing images of residential real estate properties, and who have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Learn how to prepare properties to be photographed, what to photograph, and basic approaches to shooting angles and lighting with on-camera speed lights. Learn techniques for post-processing images using Lightroom tools, with some minor applications of Photoshop.
Photograph a residential property and process the images, using the techniques discussed, with guidance from the instructor. If the property arranged for becomes unavailable, a selection of unedited files will be provided for editing. Attendees also may bring some of their own unedited images to work on. If time allows, the day will conclude with a demonstration of sky replacements using Topaz Re-Mask 5.
Items to Bring: Laptop computer with Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS5 or higher (CC is best) already installed; DSLR camera; wide-angle lens (between 14 and 17mm at widest would be good, but not a fish-eye); speed light & any modifiers you have (such as a Rogue Flashbender)
