Professional photographers rarely struggle with camera settings or lighting. The real challenge begins when someone steps in front of the camera. Every client arrives with a different story. Some are confident. Others are uncomfortable. Many believe they simply aren't photogenic. Regardless of their title or profession, they all want the same thing—to be seen as capable, authentic, approachable, and confident. Outstanding corporate headshots aren't created by simply placing someone in front of a camera. They're created by leading people through an experience that builds trust, reduces anxiety, and allows authentic expressions to emerge naturally. Technical excellence is essential, but meaningful portraits happen when photographers learn to connect with the person behind the job title. In this hands-on workshop, I'll share the complete workflow I use to create polished executive headshots for corporate clients on location. Students will learn how to prepare for corporate assignments, build efficient lighting setups, pose subjects naturally, and confidently direct individuals to produce authentic, professional portraits. Through live demonstrations and guided shooting exercises, participants will develop the technical skills and interpersonal techniques needed to work successfully with executives, leadership teams, and business professionals in real-world corporate environments. By the end of the workshop, students will leave with more than a lighting setup or posing checklist. They will leave with a repeatable framework for leading people through the portrait experience and creating corporate headshots that reflect confidence, professionalism, and the unique character of every individual they photograph. Learning Objectives By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: Prepare for efficient and successful on-location corporate headshot assignments.
