The Austin PPA supports the value of the PPA Certified Professional Photographer program. This class helps students prepare for the CPP examination. Topics include:

- Photographic equipment

- Exposure and metering

- Lighting

- Math formulas

- Color theory

- Composition

- Sample test questions

The location for this class is Tim’s place located at 3434 Oxsheer Drive. The class runs from 9 am – 4:30 pm with a break from noon – 1 pm for lunch. We will likely order pizza.

Participants can use Steve Kozak’s “CPP Study Guide” available at this link - https://passthecpp.com/membership-account/membership-checkout/. Use the code “TPPA” for a $20 discount on the guide. This guide is not required for the class but the guide provides useful information for anyone preparing for the exam.

PPA members who attend this class are eligible to receive one service merit from PPA. To receive a merit for this class, your PPA membership must be current prior to the date of the class.

The instructor for this class is Tim Babiak, M.Photog.Cr., CPP. Tim has served as a local CPP Liason as well as on the Texas PPA and Austin PPA Board of Directors.
