Take a weekday off and come join me for an day of birding at West Point Lake. It is a full day outdoors spotting eagles that have nests in the area. There are also a lot of woodlands areas to look for native smaller birds, and a lake shoreline to catch a few shorebirds. Three types of birding destinations in one area. I will teach you best practices on how to capture great photos of birds. If there is a some down time, I will fill it with talking about editing birds in Photoshop. This class is for best for intermediate to advanced camera enthusiasts. However, beginners can get have fun as well and take away some knowledge of bird photography. It is best if you understand how to use your camera though. Long lenses are needed for this. At least 400mm with a teleconverter or longer. We will eat lunch at the parks picnic tables that are river side. It is GORGEOUS. You don't have to walk around too much but the woodlands portion will require walking around. You can skip that part if preferred.
