This is a Hands-On class. Join us as we explore and photograph Wildwood Lake in Harrisburg, PA. The class will be covering techniques to locate & identify wildlife, maximize image quality and observe subject behavior to improve image capture. Proper etiquette for photographing in a public park will also be covered. Local wildlife that we may encounter could include birds such as egrets, herons, woodpeckers & songbirds. The lake also has numerous frogs, turtles, dragonflies, muskrats and even a rare mink on occasion. There will opportunities to photograph not only the wildlife, but the plants & scenery as well. We will be walking along a one mile, gravel/dirt path along a lake lush with wildlife. There is also an additional 2 mile path including a boardwalk. I recommend bringing a variety of lenses with your camera, as there are multiple opportunities to photograph different types of subjects.
