This is a Hands-On class. Join us as we explore and photograph Wildwood Lake in Harrisburg, PA. This class will be covering techniques to locate and identify wildlife, maximize image quality, and observe subject behavior to improve image capture. Proper etiquette for photographing in a public park will also be covered. Local wildlife that we may encounter could include birds such as egrets, herons, woodpeckers and songbirds. The lake also has numerous frogs, turtles, dragonflies, muskrats and even a rare mink on occasion. There will opportunities to photograph not only the wildlife, but the plants and scenery as well. We will be walking along a one mile gravel/dirt path along a lake lush with wildlife. There is also an additional two mile path with a boardwalk. I recommend bringing a variety of lenses with your camera, as there are multiple opportunities to photograph different types of subjects.
