Hands on Outdoor Floral Photography. This workshop is an introduction to natural light photography on outdoor florals. We will cover how to look for light, direction of light, back light, working with light, and how to avoid shooting in strong direct midday light. We will cover camera setting such as the proper exposure, ISO and shutter speed. I’ll share how to use surrounding flowers to create a ‘frame’ for the subject or consider using a different lens to create a distorted perspective. You will learn how to work with flowers by using in camera cropping, experiment with focal lengths, and depth of field. We will focus our attention to the background by using aperture and shutter speed to control the background and choose a different lens that will help to create a beautiful bokeh. Taking images to the next level using post processing tech techniques will be discussed during the lunch break.
