In this workshop, we'll go over the basics of lighting by gaining a better understanding of how light acts and reacts to its surrounding. We'll talk about where and when to find the light you want. We'll also go over how to create your own lighting at any time of the day using strobes. As well as how best to use natural and available lighting. These concepts will allow for quick decisions on-site and in-studio for great lighting results. Photographing professionally since 2003, my focus is exploring culture through portraiture and documenting the intersections of subcultures to better understand society as a whole. Striving for that moment of connection, reciprocity of community as humans in society, as a way to make sense of our social fabric.
