This course will go beyond the basics of lighting. We will dive deep into lighting techniques for individuals, couples, and groups. We will start with one light and progress to a five-light setup. We will use lighting to scalp the body and target areas of the scene for a specific look and feel. We will use modifiers, grids, reflectors, and barn doors to direct the light. Although a basic understanding of the exposure triangle is required, we will discuss how to manipulate ISO, aperture, and shutter speed to create a dynamic image. We will discuss broad, short, split, loop, and butterfly lighting techniques. This class is for photographers of all skill levels with a basic understanding of Off-camera Lighting(OCL) in the studio and on location. This class will be a combination of lecture and hands-on.
