If you want to learn how to see light and visualize your portrait possibilities then this is the class for you. Join Stephen Sedman for a fun-filled photo walk around Boston Harbor where we will look at a variety of light opportunities and challenges and learn how to best take advantage of the light that you find and when to make your own light to achieve your photographic vision. This class will start at 1:30 pm so that we can explore midday light and how to make it work for you and go all the way to portraits after dark, ending at 9 pm one hour after sunset. There will be a model that you can photograph and practice what you learn or you can follow along and take notes. It's up to you what learning style you have if you want to photograph or not, but I do recommend it. This class covers available light, modifiers such as reflectors and gobos, and also multiple off-camera flashes. The principles you learn will apply to photographing people such as families, seniors, or even weddings.
