Whether you want to include dogs in your family sessions, focus exclusively on dogs, transition from outdoor portraits to studio, or if you just want to learn more about photographing dogs, this workshop will cover best practices for working with these amazing animals, while bringing out their unique character and natural expressions. You will learn about dog safety and behavior, how to read a dog's body language, as well as preparing your studio and your client. You will also learn ways to approach some of the unique challenges associated with photographing dogs in a studio environment, including nervous dogs, untrained dogs, black dogs, seniors, blind or deaf dogs, multiple dogs, as well as the humans that come with the dogs! Ann will share tips and tricks for lighting and posing dogs, getting their attention, followed by studio demonstrations with dog models.
